Deltella

Download Deltella

Closed beta Deltella is invite only for now. The app asks you to sign in, and your first sign-in needs an invite code. To ask for one, write to gavin@deltella.com.

The newest build, straight from the release. Once it is installed, it updates itself.

Latest release: on GitHub

Windows

  • For Windows 10 and 11.
  • Installs for you alone, without administrator rights.
  • Reads and searches your handwriting.

Either way it is the same app. The Store keeps it up to date; the installer updates itself. The installer isn’t signed yet, so Windows may say it protected your PC: choose More info, then Run anyway.

Linux

Download for Linux

That is the AppImage, which runs anywhere. Or the package for your system:

  • .deb for Ubuntu, Debian, Mint, Pop!_OS, elementary, and Zorin
  • .rpm for Fedora and openSUSE
  • The AppImage above for Arch, NixOS, and anything else: make it executable and run it.

64-bit Intel and AMD, Ubuntu 22.04 or newer and its relatives. Updating a deb or rpm asks for your password, as installing one does; the AppImage updates without asking. Handwriting is not read on Linux yet: typed text, page names, and PDFs are still searched.

Mac

A Mac app is coming. Until then, use Deltella in your browser, with the same account and the same notebooks.

Open Deltella in your browser

At boards.deltella.com, in Chrome or Edge. Signing in there needs an invite too.
